Wilder Kaiser enjoyable cycling
These state-of-the-art bicycles are not to be confused with the outmoded technology of e-mopeds. The motor does not produce irritating noises and assists with your own pedalling. The power output can be adjusted to three different levels. A charged battery lasts for 40 to 60 kilometres. Should you require “new power” you can recharge the battery at the region’s charging stations. Since the so-called “Swiss-Flyer” by Movelo is also offered in the neighbouring regions, you can enjoy unlimited environmentally friendly cycling fun on your Pedelec in the Wilder Kaiser region, in and around the Kitzbühel Alps in the summer of 2013.
The largest E-Bike region in the world
The Wilder Kaiser region is part of the "Kitzbüheler Alpen and Kaiser mountains", the world's largest e-bike region. 275 electric bikes and 75 rental or battery changing stations are available to the e-bike guest in the Kitzbüheler Alps. You can e-bike your way through nine tourist regions (45 villages) on well constructed cycle paths well away from main roads, passing through: Ferienland Kufstein; the Wildschönau and the Hohe Salve; the Brixental valley; Kitzbühel; St. Johann in Tirol; Kaiserwinkl; Wilder Kaiser and the Pillerseetal valley. Electric bikes, also called pedelecs or e-bikes, can be hired from any of the partners in the Wilder Kaiser Region. An electric motor serves as a little helper while cycling.
A comprehensive touring map shows fifteen of the loveliest routes along with tips for e-bikers. The e-bike map with around 1.000 km of signposted cycle paths is available free of charge from the tourist offices.
